Eric is a 1986 graduate of Tallmadge High School coached by Dave Young and Rick Quintrell. He was 3 time All-Metro selection and won the Metro championship in 1986. During his career Eric played for Akron Omnicor, Tallmadge Stars and Goodyear Hts. NeuroCare.

In 2000 he helped start and coach teams in the NEO Roy Hobbs league: spanning from 25+, 35+, 45+ age groups with R&S Drywall, Akron Redskins and Crystal Clinic Indians. A 15 year participant at the Roy Hobbs World Series, Eric is a two time World Series MVP.

Eric was known as a “pitchers catcher” and feared by base runners. Forever a team player, he was both a revered teammate and beloved coach.
