Year Inducted – 2019

Bill Gearhart grew up in Norton Ohio until he was nine years old when his family moved to Wadsworth Ohio. Bill attended Wadsworth High School where he played baseball, basketball and football for the Grizzlies.  Upon graduation, he attended The Ohio State University, Valencia Community College and eventually graduating from Armstrong State University.

Bill is currently the pitching coach at Wadsworth High School and is also the player development director and co-owner of the Wadsworth Outlaws, a youth organization.

He met his wife, Cheryl, in Savannah Georgia and they were married in 1989.  They have two daughters, Samantha and Jessie, and two sons, Billy and Jimmy.
