Year Inducted – 1991

Pete began early years as second baseman with P.A.L., Post 209, Moores Wrestlers; was All-City shortstop at Hower High (1949-52); played short and caught for Otterbein College (1954-55) where he led O.C. in home runs in ’54. In AA ball he played with Old Dutch Beer, St. Mary’s (’52 Champs), Wenham Trucking; was all-star shortstop for Old Dutch title team (’56) and played for Howe Construction, Krispy Kreme, Zoff’s, and 1960-61 Black Label title teams. Pete was a fierce competitor dangerous hitter with men on base.
