Mike Darrah played at Rootstown High School, where he earned First Team All-Conference honors as both a junior and senior.
At West Liberty University, Mike was a four-year starter and a three-time All-West Virginia Intercollegiate selection. During his senior season, he led the Hilltoppers in batting average, hits, and RBIs while compiling a 10-1 pitching record.
Mike played professionally from 2007–2009 with Slippery Rock, Utica, and the Washington Wild Things.
Since 2003, Mike has been a member of the Portage South Black Squirrels in the Greater Akron AA League. He was named League MVP in 2004 and Tournament MVP in 2011, finishing with a .383 career batting average.
In addition to his playing career, Mike is the founder of Darrah’s All-Star Academy and leads the Titans youth baseball teams.
