He was a power-hitting, team leader, catcher in West Akron Youth Leagues. All-City at Firestone High and All League at Ashland College. Brian was usually the leading hitter and RBI man for AA” Wadsworth AC teams and was the MVP in the 1989 All-Star game. He also coached 5 years at Firestone High and led the Falcons to the 1995 title. Brian was selected as the “Garcia League” MVP in 1989.
