The Kent Mudhens are one of the most storied adult baseball organizations in Northeast Ohio. Founded in 1994 as a team in the NEO Roy Hobbs 40+ Division, the organization has grown to field teams in the 45+, 60+, 65+, and 70+ divisions. Over the years, the Mudhens have captured multiple championships across each age division.
Since 1997, the Kent Mudhens have competed annually in the Roy Hobbs World Series, highlighted by winning the 60+ Division Championship in 2007.
Beyond competition, the Kent Mudhens have made a lasting impact on baseball in the region by sponsoring youth baseball and softball teams each year. Many Mudhen players have also served as coaches for youth and high school programs, helping develop the next generation of players.
Today, the Kent Mudhens continue to provide opportunities for adult baseball players across multiple age groups while promoting and supporting the game throughout Northeast Ohio.
