Chris played for Revere High School, earning First Team All-Suburban honors in each of his three varsity seasons. During the summers, he played for Omnicor in the AA League, where he was selected as an All-Star twice.
While attending Mount Vernon College, Chris earned All-Conference honors and was a member of the 1989 NJCCAA National Championship team. Following his collegiate career, he played professionally in Australia for the Sydney Metros.
In 1997, Chris became the first head baseball coach at El Paso Community College, leading the program to the NAIA Region V Playoffs in just its second season.
In 2001, Coach Brown won a Gold Medal in Mexico with the USA Youth National Team. He has since completed more than 25 seasons as head coach at San Diego City College, highlighted by a PCAC Championship in 2010.
