Year Inducted – 2007

Wade spent more than 30 years helping the youth of Firestone Park in learning the game of baseball. He founded the highly successful Akron Colts Youth teams and his leadership paved the way for building Colt Stadium on East Waterloo Road near the Starlite Drive-In. He had a tremendous knack of fund raising ability to pay the bills for uniforms, baseballs and umpires so the youth could play the game. Wade’s favorite words PLAY BALL.
