Star pitcher for the St. Vincent-St. Mary’s 1986 State Champions. Earned All-State honors in 1987. Never lost a game in H.S. Fifth-round draft pick of the Cleveland Indians in 1988. Started the 1990 Carolina League All-Star Game. Pitched six seasons in the Indians organization (including Canton-Akron).
