Year Inducted – 2019

Ted Lesiak graduated from Medina High School in 1982 and Ohio University in 1986 where he received a A.B. Political Science and History degree.  He then graduated from the University of Akron School of Law J.D. in 1989.  He is licensed to practice law in Ohio; United States District Court, Western District of Michigan; United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio; United States Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit; Supreme Court of the United States of America.

Ted is the Legal Counsel and a Board Trustee of the Roy Hobbs Foundation, NEO Roy Hobbs Baseball, and Kent Mud Hens Baseball Club.

Ted has played many years in several amateur leagues and has consistently been one of the hitting and pitching leaders each year.  He is a fierce competitor but always a true gentleman to the sport.  He is currently the Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach at Cuyahoga Falls High School, and has coached at Archbishop Hoban High School.  Ted coached Medina Youth Basketball, Baseball, Softball, and Soccer and also coached St. Sebastian CYO Basketball.

He is married to Judge Jennifer Hensal, Ohio Court of Appeals, Ninth Judicial District and has two children, Sarah Lesiak (25), a middle school math teacher at Bishop Leibold School, Kettering, Ohio, and  Trey Lesiak (22), a Second Lieutenant, U.S. Army, 525th Intelligence Brigade, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
