Year Inducted – 2021

Scott Wightman started playing baseball in the GABF League with the Martin Freed Knights where he was a dominating hitter.  Scott Wightman attended Hoban High School and graduated in 1985.  He attended the University of Akron playing baseball for two years. 

In the local Akron AA baseball league, Scott played with Akron Omnicor and Crocker’s, where he was a three-time Akron/Canton All-Star and the 1988 AA MVP.
