Year Inducted – 1989

A fine athlete during his South High days — “All-City Sid” parlayed his athletic ability and knowldge of baseball along with a flambouyancy and flair and keen sense of sportsmanship into becoming one of the better umpires in the Akron area for 22 years. He was always involved in the game and enjoyed the competition on the field.
