Year Inducted – 2007

The 6-3, 200-pounder has played and coached baseball in the greater Akron area for more than 30 years. While growing up in the hot bed of Tallmadge baseball, Dexter learned to handle all nine positions on the diamond, with third base probably being his best position. A strong hitter, Dexter was always on the top of the stats in all offensive categories. He helped many youth teams ; Ellet Yankees, Goodyear Heights Wildcats-Orientals, Tallmadge Devils, Lockhart Construction and Tallmadge to many championships. In AA ball, he was an All-Star for Airmatic Valve, Eaton Sports Pride, Pfeifle Funeral Home and Bolin Oil teams.
