Year Inducted – 2019

Dave Frak grew up in Wickliffe, Ohio where he attended Wickliffe High School.  He was a three-sport athlete playing baseball and basketball and running Cross-Country.  He received 8 Varsity Letters for the Blue Devils and was voted Male Athlete of the Year as a senior. His father was instrumental helping Dave to develop a love for baseball and was his head coach until 12.

Dave went to Lakeland Community College and played baseball for two years.  He then transferred to Walsh University and played baseball for two years until he graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.  He has won several MVP awards for the Summer leagues in which he has played.  In 2003, he began working at Progressive Insurance as an Applications Developer and has been there ever since.  Dave served as the Pitching/Assistant Varsity Baseball coach at Akron Manchester High School from 2006-2014.

In 2012, he met his wife, Jenifer, and they were married in 2013.  Dave and Jenifer have three children Kinslee (10), Cole (5) and Carlee (2).  This Summer will be the second year as the head T-ball coach for Cole’s team.
