Dante Sabatucci is known for being a hard throwing left-handed pitcher that could lock up a batter on almost every pitch. While at Jackson High School, Dante lettered for two years, was All-Federal League, and League champions in 1986. He played at the University of Akron and dominated Ohio Valley Conference hitters. Dante has been playing in the Roy Hobbs Leagues since 1999 and is still one of the most feared pitchers in the leagues. He has been on several Roy Hobbs World Series championship teams, including 2001, 2004, 2006 AAAA Champs, 2006 A Champs, 2011 AAAA Champs, and 2014 World Series A Champs Team MVP.
Dante owned Play Ball Sports Academy where he and his staff developed youth baseball skills. He was the Founder and General Manager of the Akron A’s Travel Baseball Organization, and has coached both Hot Stove and High School teams.
