Bryan Youngblood has worn many baseball hats in the game of baseball, but not always as a player. He began playing Little League baseball in Doylestown and attended Chippewa High School where he played football, basketball, and baseball. After high school graduation, Bryan went to Ohio Dominican and played baseball for two years (winning the MOC conference in 1992), but eventually transferring to Bluffton and playing for two more years. He was the team captain in 1995 and graduated from Bluffton in 1996. His college degrees are from Bluffton University, The Ohio State University, and West Virginia University. Bryan also played in the Open division of Roy Hobbs and Canton Leagues.
Bryan coached baseball in high school at Pendleton County where he led them in six sectional championships, conference and regional championships, and a state semi-final berth in 2016.
Bryan is currently one of the busiest umpires in Ohio. He teaches at umpire clinics all over the state; is a member of several different umpire associations; and, works CABA and Roy Hobbs tournaments, Ohio Regional Campus Conference Championships, Eastern District American Legion Championships and many other baseball tournaments throughout the baseball season.
