Born in Cleveland, Ohio to Jim and Christine Gallas, Anthony is the oldest of 4. The family moved to Strongsville when he was 9 years old. He went through the Strongsville public school system and finished at Strongsville High school where his senior year they won the 2006 Division 1 State Title. He then furthered his education at Kent State University, where he was a part of 4 Mac Championship teams. Signed with the Cleveland Indians in 2010, and played 6 years with the organization. Anthony moved to California in 2011 to pursue better training and to get ready for spring training each season. He retired from baseball at the end of 2017 after 8 seasons of professional baseball, and was inducted into the Kent State Athletic Hall of Fame. Anthony has since moved back to Ohio where he resides with his girlfriend Kaela in Westlake. In 2018, Anthony started his career in medical device sales and currently works for Smith & Nephew Orthopedics where he assists and consults surgeons through trauma surgeries.
