Bob FarmerA tough, hard-nosed catcher who played on winning teams throughout his career beginning in 1932 with Akron Rangers and Champion Hub Cafe teams. The West High grad also performed for tournament tested teams Akron Yankee Jrs., Mayflower Hotel and Golden Age. Competed in NABF tourney in Washington in 1939 with Mayflower's City title team. Bob was an excellent receiver with a strong throwing arm. He was Frank Stefko's (also a Hall of Famer) favorite catcher.
